Volkswagen Caddy

Car modifications:
The VW Caddy is being converted into a multi-purpose wheelchair vehicle. The bottom is lowered and depending on the position of the rear seat, there are 3 seats + space for 1 wheelchair user(with the back seat folded up) or 5 seatsn (with the rear seat folded down). If no wheelchair user is riding along, you can fold through the ramp. This keeps the spacious trunk accessible for loading and unloading.
The lowered floor is 85cm at its widest, this allows electric wheelchairs to comfortably enter and exit the wagon. The center section of the rear bumper is attached to the tailgate to make the carriage modification barely visible. The lightweight manual ramp is easy to operate and can be fully laid down to level out the trunk when no wheelchair user is traveling. The wheelchair locking system and three-point harness meet the toughest safety standards to safely transport every passenger.

- with rear seat folded up: driver + 2 passengers + 1 wheelchair user
- Without folded back seats: driver + 4 passengers
- When removing the original bench and adding 1 seat: driver + 2 passengers + 1 wheelchair user
- when removing the original bench and adding 2 seats: driver + 3 passengers + 1 wheelchair user
